WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A Boonville man who was recently arrested on charges of rape and sexual misconduct with a minor is facing charges in a new case where he's accused of raping and putting a gun to a victim's head.

As we reported, 33-year-old Shawn Miller was arrested on Monday after being accused of raping a minor victim in Evansville.

Court records show a new case was opened in Warrick County against Miller, on similar charges.

On Thursday, Miller was charged in Warrick Superior Court with strangulation, criminal confinement, battery, and rape.

The new charges against Miller come as a victim reported being assaulted in Boonville in May.
