LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Good news for Arkansas drivers in the latest report from AAA.
The AAA Weekend Gas Watch shows that Arkansas gas prices averaged $2.76 per gallon for regular unleaded on Thursday. That price is four cents lower than a week ago and 25 cents lower compared to a year ago, the report stated.
For central Arkansas motorists, the prices are lower still. Hot Springs has an average of $2.74 on Thursday, while the Little Rock-North Little Rock metro is lower still at $2.73, as is Pine Bluff.
The lowest average gas price in the Natural State is in Craighead County at $2.65 a gallon, while Bradley County has the highest at $3.16.
Nationally, the average is $3.15 a gallon, led by California at $4.73. Mississippi has the lowest average price in the country at $2.65, according to A
