ANSONIA, Conn. — A Connecticut man wanted by several area police departments was arrested twice over the past eight days, according to a release from Ansonia police.
Fifty-two-year-old Hippolito Rodriguez, of Bridgeport, was arrested Thursday for six separate incidents in which he allegedly stalked and harassed an ex-girlfriend, Ansonia police report.
The incidents are said to have occurred between January and April of this year.
Ansonia police also note that Rodriguez was arrested last Wednesday, on May 28, by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Bridgeport Police Department. This was the result of five failure to appear warrants stemming from cases being pursued by Connecticut State Police, Branford police and Bridgeport police.
