SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Sioux City Police are investigating a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital during the early morning hours of Thursday, June 5.

According to the Sioux City Police Department, a stabbing was reported at about 3 a.m., and officers were sent to 836 18th Street, a home at the corner of Virginia and 18th Street.

When police arrived, they found a man with several stab wounds to his upper body. The man was taken to a Sioux City hospital and remains there in critical condition. They are not being identified at this time.

No other details on the stabbing have been released, but police say the investigation remains active and no arrests have been made in the case.
