The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued two recall notices and a warning on Tuesday, June 3, all related to meat products.
First, FSIS announced a recall of beef tallow and pork lard sold by Sulu Organics, LLC for lack of appropriate inspection. According to FSIS, the company was purchasing tallow and lard in bulk and repackaging them into smaller containers without FSIS inspection. Copy article link
