WASHINGTON — New clues surfaced in the case of the empty casket found on the side of the road in Prince George’s County.
On May 29, Prince George’s County Councilmember Calvin Hawkins posted to his Facebook page to say he was flabbergasted when he received calls about an empty casket dumped on the side of the street near Lords Landing Road in Upper Marlboro.
A few days later, Juliana Holland, a resident at the D.C. apartment complex Onyx, in Navy Yard said she saw the story on WUSA9 and the casket looked far too familiar.
“I said, 'wait a minute guys, that’s our casket.' We call it our casket."
