SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is actively searching for 13-year-old Jamale Hampton in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on May 31.

According to investigators, Hampton is accused of robbing two other juveniles at gunpoint. Detectives with the department’s Violent Crimes Unit quickly identified Hampton as the suspect and have secured two arrest warrants for armed robbery.

Although Hampton is a juvenile, he has demonstrated a concerning pattern of violent behavior, according to SPD officials. Due to the serious nature of the crime and the fact that he was reportedly armed during the offense, he is considered armed and dangerous.
