WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Jonathan Joss, the voice behind King of the Hill’s John Redcorn, made his final media appearance on the Waco-based podcast “ Bwaaa! A King of The Hill Podcast .”

Joss was shot and killed at his former home in San Antonio on Sunday.

Mike Hamilton and Rusty Shackleford host the podcast. Each episode discusses a single episode from the show.

Joss offered to appear on the show for a fee in front of a live audience. The show was recorded in Austin, Texas, following the ATX TV Festival.

The hosts never expected that show would be Joss’ final interview.

“We thought we were talking to a guy who’s a kind of on edge, but it never goes through your head,” Hamilton said.

During the interview , they recalled Joss appearing as if he had a lot on his mind.
