GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - After an 8-year wait, gamers are hitting the stores for the new Nintendo console
The Nintendo Switch 2 hit the shelves today and brought crowds along with it.
This is the successor to the console that changed the way gamers can play on the go.
Some customers lined up last night to buy the $450 new switch...But others preordered.
“I was thinking about it I was thinking about taking a day off work and everything and genuinely doing that but I knew there would be a long line I knew there would be people camping out in tents and I dont wanna deal with that so I decided to just pre order,” Bennie Radford, a seniror audio engineer for Warner Records stated.
Nintendo escaped raising prices due to tariffs by increasing the price of the system’s accessories.
