GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) - Celebration Pointe has a new addition.
The little library is a free book-sharing box inviting everyone to “take a book, share a book.”
People who donated a book to the little library received a custom bookplate label to personalize their donation.
“So once we unveil and cut the ribbon today, the books will be in here. I’m sure we’ll have enough to fill it, so we’ll be able to rotate them through. And the premise of the little library is if you love it, keep it if you’re here, and you donate one, then donate one, but we’ll always make sure it stays stocked,” suzanne mcguire, community engagement manager, shared.
The community-driven initiative is made possible due to the Rex & Brody Foundation and the early learning coalition of Alachua County.
