CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - As dozens of parents and stakeholders are expected to show up to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School Board meeting Thursday regarding two principal suspensions, District 6’s board member issues a statement to WBTV.

District 6’s board member Summer Nunn represents the area that includes Ardrey Kell High School.

Ardrey Kell High School Principal Jamie Brooks was suspended with pay on May 2nd, and weeks later announced her retirement.

Then on May 20th, another principal was suspended with pay, Jennifer Schroeder . She is the principal at Randolph Middle School. Police reports show Schroeder was shoved into a wall by a parent two weeks before her suspension.
