HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - For teens and college students looking to make some extra cash or add to their savings, the Better Business Bureau encourages people to think twice about job postings that seem too good to be true.

Laura Blankenship, Regional Marketing Specialist with the BBB, said people should act cautiously with listings that have a quick hiring process.

“They say you’ve been hired. You likely won’t talk to anyone face-to-face. You may talk to them on the phone. They may have broken English,” Blankenship said.

Blankenship said the employment scams unfold in two different ways.
