SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Free Fishing Day is back on June 7, and is an annual Texas tradition. On this day, anyone in Texas can fish on any public waterway in the state without a fishing license.

They told the website that there are three main bodies of water in town to fish at, which are Lake Nasworthy, Twin Buttes and the Concho River; the best place is the Concho River.
