SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A very warm and muggy night ahead with temperatures remaining in the mid 70s. It should stay quiet with just a few passing clouds.

Looking ahead to Friday, we’ll be keeping a close eye on areas north of I-30 where some severe storms will be possible during the morning. The main threats with these would be damaging wind and heavy rainfall. For the rest of the region, it will be another hot, humid and dry day with highs soaring into the mid 90s.

Saturday will be very hot and humid again with highs in the mid 90s and feels like temperatures likely topping 100. Most of the day will be dry but by evening, we’ll be watching a complex of storms off to the northwest that will likely arrive during the evening and overnight hours.
