ELY, Minn.- The South Ridge baseball team left no doubt on Thursday, as they defeated Ely 13 to 1 in five innings in the Section 7A title game.

Ely scored the game’s first run thanks to a wild pitch in the top of the 1st.

But after that, South Ridge responded with a three spot in the bottom half and then 13 unanswered runs total.

The Panthers last made the state tournament in the 2023 season.
