The Indiana Fever season kicked off with some drama last month, not shockingly, involving the Chicago Sky.

The WNBA launched an investigation after reports of Fever fans shouting racist and discriminating comments towards Sky player, Angel Reese.

Within a few weeks, the league concluded that the claims were ‘not substantiated.’ Since the announcement, it seems the outrage of the rumors quickly dissipated.

Sen. Jim Banks, believes that the Chicago Sky along with the WNBA should apologize to Fever fans for the offensive accusations.

“Don’t call Hoosier racist when they weren’t being racist.”

Sen. Banks told Hammer and Nigel that he would like the Fever to also stand up for Hoosier fans.
