Taylor Pendrith rises above soggy morning course at RBC Canadian Open

The all-Canadian group at the RBC Canadian Open produced lots of excitement on Thursday, including a highlight-reel moment for Mackenzie Hughes and a bright round for Taylor Pendrith.

After teeing off in the morning with countrymen Hughes and Nick Taylor, Pendrith shot a five-under 65 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley and walked off the course mid-afternoon with a piece of the tournament lead. For much of the day, that was the score to beat.
