DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Arena League has announced that Duluth Harbor Monsters head coach, Tony O’Neil, is being suspended and fined due to his posting an inappropriate video on social media this past weekend.

O’Neil received a two-game suspension, and therefore will not be allowed to coach for the next two weeks.

He is also being fined $1,000.

The Arena League deemed this video to be “detrimental and goes against the League’s conduct.”

Since then, we reached out to the team, and the General Manager of the Harbor Monsters Steve Walters replied.

“The organization looks forward to Coach Tony’s return and remains focused on delivering outstanding performances,” said Walters in a statement.
