The Orono Bog Boardwalk , or "The Bog Walk" as it is referred to by most, opened to the public on May 1st. Running right through the Bangor City Forest , the Bog Walk is no stranger to wildlife. Hawks, owls, rabbits, and foxes are often seen in the vicinity, along with snakes and small rodents. Sometimes, even deer make appearances in the area.
After all, it's a boardwalk built into nature, and that's the draw, right?
