ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A new mural to honor the CVPA school shooting has been made.

The piece of art is now on the side of SSM Health Cardinal Glennon in Tower Grove. It is to honor the victims of the 2022 shooting at Central Visual Performing Arts High School.

The mural was designed by two students and a teacher at the school. The artwork is painted on the side of the building facing CVPA on Arsenal Street.

That shooting took the lives of student Alexzandria Bell and teacher Jean Kuczka and injured multiple other people. Since then, our investigative team has shared some of the lessons families of those victims hope others can learn from that shooting to hopefully prevent another tragedy.
