COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The Division of Cannabis Control (DCC) has issued updated guidance on Wednesday on purchase limitations for non-medical cannabis sales.

The DCC emphasized its priority of ensuring medical marijuana patients have an adequate supply while maintaining their medical marijuana cards. Dispensaries are reminded of their responsibility to serve both medical patients and non-medical consumers, maintaining sufficient inventory for medical marijuana.

Under the new guidance:

Dispensaries should adhere to statutory per day transaction limits for non-medical consumers as outlined in Ohio Revised Code (O.R.C.) 3780.03 and 3780.36.
