BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - AmeriCorps programs in Vermont and New York appear to be saved as a judge orders the Trump administration to restore grant funding.
The federal Agency for National Service and Volunteerism was set to have its workforce cut by nearly 90%.
Following a lawsuit from more than a dozen states, a judge found that the administration doesn’t have the legal authority to cut the funding and ordered employees to be reinstated.
