SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — This April and May were some of the wettest on record. According to our Ozarks First’s meteorological crew, it is the third wettest on record, with just over 20 inches of rain falling on Springfield in that time.

With some major construction projects still happening around town, the rain could be impacting progress.

Denise Allsop owns Vine Pairings in the Galloway area. She tells Ozarks First the construction continues to impact business.

"I'm not established that much. And it seems like you have to be really intentional to get here. And even though a lot of the road is open, the one way from Galloway is not,” says Allsop.
