ROUND ROCK — Thrall defied the odds and surprised everyone with what it did this season, but its Cinderella playoff run came up one game short of the ultimate prize.
The Panthers fell to Wall 14-2 in the Class 3A Division II state championship game Thursday at Dell Diamond. However, a disappointing final day of the season couldn’t put a damper on what Thrall accomplished the last few months.
