SUNNYSIDE, Wash. – Firefighters and mutual aid partners tackled a second alarm commercial fire on the 100 block of 11th Street on June 3rd.

The fire, which was contained to the main building of the Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District , resulted in a total loss but caused no injuries to firefighters or civilians, Sunnyside Fire said in a release .

In an outpouring of community support, Sunnyside Domino's Pizza donated food to the crews, and an anonymous family provided a case of water at the scene.

The Sunnyside Valley Irrigation District offered heavy machinery, aiding significantly in the firefighting efforts, the release added.
