Bryson DeChambeau is looking to launch a real estate development near Clovis with an adjoining golf academy.
The Business Journal reported on Thursday that DeChambeau has partnered with Cook Land Company for the land northeast of Clovis.
Driving the news: Cook says on its website that it has over 1.1 million square feet of land in its portfolio spanning over 50 properties, adding 200,000 square feet annually. • DeChambeau appeared on a sports business podcast in January, where he first detailed his plans for the development. • DeChambeau said at the time that he envisioned a multi-sport complex with a driving range, golf course and residential community center. He also said he plans to tie the project in with students at Clovis Unified School District to give them more opportunities.
