An administrator known for his sense of humor and dedication to his school’s success is retiring from Rutland City Public Schools at the end of this year.

After 31 years of service, Rutland High School Associate Principal Steve Sampson said it just felt like it was the appropriate time for him to get on with this next chapter of his life.
