WATERTOWN — Even playing on her home course, Clark-Willow Lake sophomore Brynn Roehrich knew winning a second-straight state Class B girls golf championship wasn't going to be as easy as some might have expected.

It wasn't but the talented Cyclone linkster still held off juniors Jadyn McDonald of Chester and Jayce Pugh of Miller again to repeat at the Prairie Winds Golf Club on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Roehrich opened the day with a 1-shot lead and never gave it back on the way to matching the even-par 72 she shot in Monday's opening round. She finished at 144, topping McDonald by four shots and Pugh by seven. Roehrich won in 2024 by six shots over Pugh (a past two-time state champ) and seven over McDonald.
