Officers took 63-year-old Karen Cannon into custody Wednesday in connection with the case. She was released on a $150,000 bail a day later.

33-year-old Patrick Deloriea died on May 13 when a Tesla hit him and left the scene at the intersection of Vegas Drive and Rainbow Boulevard, according to police.

"He's going to be missed you know?" Deloriea's friend Robert Drysdale told 8 News Now after he died. "I think everyone is pretty upset over this loss."
