Morrison Bluff, Ark. (KATV) — A fatal multi-vehicle accident in Logan County has now been placed under investigation by the Arkansas State Police.
The collision took place Friday, May 30, 2025, at about 11:15 p.m. on State Highway 109 where a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro was headed southbound.
It was driven by a 16-year-old from Scranton, traveling over 150 miles per hour, until it collided with a Toyota RAV4 at the rear.
The RAV4 was pushed into the northbound lane and hit an oncoming 18-wheeler head-on.
Mackenzie Arthur, 20, of Scranton, and a 17-year-old female passenger were killed as a result of the accident.
The driver of the Camaro received two counts of Manslaughter and was taken to the Yell County Juvenile Detention Center.
