Showers and locally strong thunderstorms crossed far northern Connecticut early Friday evening. We are keeping our fingers crossed that Saturday morning will feature just scattered showers for all the big outdoor events, however, numerous showers and thunderstorms with briefly heavy rain will be moving across the entire state of Connecticut from NW TO SE during Saturday afternoon with a Flood Watch in effect for Litchfield County. Clearing Saturday evening. Sunday looks mainly dry and less humid with showers returning by Sunday evening. Unsettled and cool early next week!
