After only one season in Lithuania, Alessandro Magro won’t continue being the head coach of BC Wolves Vilnius, the club announced in a press release.
“On behalf of the club, I want to thank Coach Alessandro – a great professional and person – for his work throughout the past season,” the club’s sports director, Donatas Zavackas, commented.
During his first and only season with the freshly-born team, the Italian head coach helped them progress for the first time to the BKT EuroCup Playoffs – losing in the Eight-Finals to U-BT Cluj-Napoca.
However, the results weren’t as successful in the Lithuanian League, where BC Wolves Vilnius couldn’t progress through the LKL Quarter-Finals, losing 2-0 to BC Jonava.
