Mel B has been in the spotlight for decades, after initially finding fame with girlband the Spice Girls in the 1990s.

The 50-year-old star enjoyed huge success with the group and as a solo artist, before going on to become a regular on our TV screens. Mel is due to appear on Alison Hammond's Big Weekend in her latest TV venture, which will air on Friday, 6 June on BBC One.

In more recent years, Mel has become known for her work with the charity Women's Aid. She was appointed MBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for services to charitable causes, and last year was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Leeds Beckett University for both her career and charity work.
