More suspects, another arrest and a person of interest are new developments in the June 1 mass shooting at a house party in Catawba County that left one man dead and 11 others injured.

Garon Killian, 20, of Lenoir, is facing an attempted first-degree murder charge connected to the shooting. Killian made his first court appearance on Wednesday. He was given a $200,000 bond.

WRAL initially reported that Killian paid this bond. However, after a court date Thursday for other charges involving a different altercation in April, on top of this latest crime, his bond was revoked and he would remain in jail until his trial date on August 4.

Sheriff Don Brown said at a press conference on Wednesday that it's "infuriating" that Killian was temporarily released from jail.
