ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Crews battled a house fire early Friday morning on Salisbury Street in Rochester.

News 8 was told the flames started at the back of the house as crews rushed to the fire around 3:30 a.m.

One person was treated at the scene, but it's unclear what happened to that individual or if he was a resident or a firefighter.

Firefighters said nobody can stay at the home due to the smoke and damage.
