ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Scattered rain showers are around this morning and will persist through early this afternoon as a front sits just south of the region. Showers are generally scattered and many will get missed.

There could be some heavier downpours this afternoon, but those will focus closer to the boundary, south of Rochester. Temperatures find themselves in the lower 70s.

Increasing pressure will help clear skies out Saturday. We are still warm and it looks like a gorgeous day across the region with temperatures getting in the middle 70s. A storm system approaches from the southwest and rain takes over late Sunday and into Monday.
