FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A mix of fog and smoke is lowering visibility for the early drive down to 1-3 miles in most cases. While the fog will let up throughout the morning, smoke will hold on a bit longer.
Air quality alerts are still in place until this evening. Air quality is described as “unhealthy for sensitive groups,” meaning those with respiratory conditions should limit time outdoors. Today will mark one week since this wildfire smoke from Canada originally pushed into our area.
Temperatures will hold in the mid to upper 70s over the weekend. Plan for outdoor activities to be mainly concentrated on Saturday, when things should be dry.
