The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has sounded the alarm for Brits jetting off on their holidays, insisting on a crucial check at least eight weeks before you are due to depart.

This guidance aims to keep holidaymakers from falling seriously ill while soaking up the sun abroad. ‌

Ticking off a pre-travel checklist is key. From making sure your passport isn't expired, sorting out appropriate insurance, and so on. ‌
