ST. ALBANS W.Va (WCHS) — Police responded to shots fired in the parking lot at the St. Albans Mall Thursday night, according to a news release from the St. Albans Police Department.

They said police responded to disturbance of around 30 teenagers at Roadside Park around 9:30 p.m. where the St. Albans Red Dragon Football Carnival had been taking place.

Police dispersed the crowd and minutes later, gunshots were heard across MacCorkle Ave. in the vicinity of the McDonald's.

Officers from the St. Albans and Nitro Police Departments, along with Kanawha County Sheriff deputies and West Virginia State Police quickly converged on the area, but didn't find anyone with injuries.
