Kent Police, firefighters from Lake Carmel and Carmel, Carmel Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Putnam Assistant Commissioner of Emergency Services Ralph Falloon, Putnam Battalion 16 Coordinator George Wahlers, the Putnam County Hazardous Materials Team, Kent EMS and representatives from a propane gas company spent hours at the scene containing the leak while burning off the excess propane.
The situation became exacerbated due to the heat and humidity since the air temperature was recorded at 90 degrees w
