Police are investigating after a large bronze statue is reported to have been stolen from an art gallery in Deal. The theft is reported to have taken place just after midnight on Thursday, June 5.
The statue, which depicts an owl, was taken from the Taylor-Jones & Son art gallery in Deal High Street and is estimated to be worth several thousands of pounds, according to Kent Police.
Anyone with information regarding the theft should has been asked to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting 46/94356/25. Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area, or who has private CCTV or doorbell footage which might assist, has also been asked to come forward.
