A woman “left for dead” after being mowed down by a suspected “hit-and-run” driver is devastated that after 15 months nobody has been charged.

Jade Miskin, from Gravesend, was left “crying and in pain” in hospital as she suffered multiple fractures, a broken eye socket and smashed jaw following the collision.

She had been walking through Crow Lane, Rochester, after a night out celebrating her birthday with friends in February last year when she was struck unexpectedly.

Two teenagers were arrested hours later, and, at the time, Jade said she was led to believe there could be charges as serious as attempted murder.
