DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (WEVV) — Just days after opening, Daviess County leaders say the Splash Pad at Yellow Creek Park had to close down Thursday.
The park had just reopened to the public on Monday before the unexpected closure.
Officials say the shutdown is only temporary and due to a water leak.
They expect the splash pad to reopen sometime today.
In the meantime, those looking to beat the late spring heat can still visit Panther Creek Park or Horse Fork Creek Park.
