CINCINNATI (WXIX) - Future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers is joining a Bengals rival.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing the 41-year-old Rodgers, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

It has been a turbulent past two seasons for the four-time NFL MVP.

A year after suffering a torn achilles in Week 1 of the 2023 season, Rodgers returned as the New York Jets’ starting quarterback. In 2024, he had 3,897 passing yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The Jets finished 5-12.

Rodgers, who turns 42 on Dec. 2, heads to Pittsburgh to replace Russel Wilson.

Joe Burrow and the Bengals get their first glimpse at Rodgers and the Steelers in primetime.

Cincinnati hosts Pittsburgh for Thursday Night Football on Oct. 7.
