YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- Crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 83 in York County on Friday morning.

According to 511PA, crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on I-83 northbound near Exit 22 to North George Street around 7:30 a.m. Traffic has narrowed to a single lane while crews work to clear the roadway.

Images from the scene show multiple fire trucks and an ambulance blocking lanes on the roadway.

511PA estimates lane restrictions will be lifted around 9:30 a.m.

The extent of the injuries is unclear at this time.
