PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) -- An early morning power outage impacted nearly 1,500 Portsmouth residents on Friday.

The outage is impacting Dominion Energy customers near London Boulevard, South Street and Elm Avenue.

The estimated time of restoration is between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The cause of the outage remains under investigation.
