Increasing heat stress is possible today and Saturday as temperatures rise into the lower to middle 90s and heat index readings reach the triple digits in some areas each day. Be sure to take frequent breaks and drink plenty of water if you plan to spend a prolonged amount of time outdoors.

Multiple rounds of thunderstorms, some strong to severe, are possible from late Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon. The primary hazard will be damaging wind gusts, but hail up to quarter size is also possible.
