Vision Fund Malawi has join forces with NICO Life insurance Company to start providing insurance to village banks that will help members during difficult times, such as accidents, sickness or death.

NICO Life Chief Operating Officer, Chimwemwe Kanyenda, said they want to make sure the new insurance plan called FAST, runs smoothly so that members should get the support they need.

Chief Executive Officer for Vision Fund Malawi, Theodora Ntaba also added her remarks saying that 85,000 village bank members will benefit from this partnership and also members will be paying K190 and K560 per month, depending on how much they earn in order for them to join the insurance company.
