MALDEN, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Firefighters battled an early morning fire at a house in Malden.

The call came into 911 around 6:30 a.m. Friday at a home on Washington Avenue and 98th Street.

Neighbors told WSAZ that no one had lived in the house for a couple of months.

The house was heavily damaged, especially in the back part of the building.

No one was injured and a cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
