LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A rally will be held in downtown Lexington Friday in observance of National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
Organizers are encouraging attendees to wear orange — a color symbolizing support for gun violence victims and survivors. The event is set for noon at Courthouse Plaza on North Limestone.
The rally is part of a national effort to raise awareness about the impact of gun violence across the country.
